Be The Trim Tab !

(or… how little things make a difference!)

 

 A trim tab is a tiny flap that controls the rudder on a ship or airplane…

And makes small but important adjustments to keep the craft on course.

…and it’s a great analogy, used by visionary inventor Buckminster Fuller

 to illustrate how each of us can help to turn our world in new directions.

Below are some of earthexchange’s first funded projects that we feel are trim tabs.

Kleiwerks International is a non-profit organization

that promotes social transformation and community empowerment by…leading hands-on training in natural building and whole-systems solutions that result in sustainability education centers around the world.

Education that engages and equips people of all ages……

with the tools, knowledge, skills and positive outlook

to create a future we  can all look forward to!

Earth Voyage’s answer…to creating a sustainable future is education.

Earth Voyage understands that everyone learns differently so activities are designed using a whole systems curriculum that utilizes the multiple intelligences of all participants. Earth Voyage’s main theme for games and activities is systems thinking and human interconnection with the environment, and human society.  Programs incorporate this theme while also addressing nationally recognized AAAS bench marks for learning.  Program curriculums include:

Math -  Earth Systems Science -  History -  Geography -  Social Studies-Human Population Dynamics -  Data Visualization - Service Learning- A Sense of Wonder - A Sense of Place.
